Shocks for 94012 Feb 2008 18:19 GMT10
Does anyone know who made the shocks for a 93 940 turbo when it was first
built? (OEM)
I have 205,000 miles on mine and I would love to get the ride back like it
was new...how does one tell when the shocks are bad?

Crackshaft oil sealant11 Feb 2008 21:12 GMT2
Does anybody know the dimensions of crackshaft oil seal of a D5 engine? It's
the one on the right hand side, when sitting in the car.
Of course I could buy one at the local Volvo dealer, but I rather use a
Viton one, better material longer life. I don't want to risk taking the

Hi...i've just had the head done and the timing belt changed by a

Variable Idle - 2001 V7010 Feb 2008 00:34 GMT3
WE've got a 2001 V70 2.4, just a bit over 90k miles.  The idle sometimes
wanders a bit...it will sit at 800 for a couple seconds, then rise to
about 1000 for a few, then drop back - up and down like that.  Doesn't
seem to do it all the time, and mostly it's a minor annoyance.

Are Mann air filters for 240 as good as the Volvo OEM?08 Feb 2008 20:03 GMT3

Does anyone have first-hand experience with those filters?
Thanks.

Is there a US equivalent blub designation? The owner's manual lists a socket
number and wattage, but no bulb number.

1993 Volvo Wagon06 Feb 2008 23:31 GMT1
I think this is my last question.  Where is the control module for the
cruise.  I want to take the one out of a 87 and put it in my 'new' 93.  I'm
not sure how big it is. Any help?

940 radio06 Feb 2008 21:27 GMT1
I just got a 93 940 turbo.  Everything fine but the radio Am does not work.
FM is fine.  Any suggestions. I can repair at the board level if necessary
but I dont have a schematic.  A schematic would be helpfull as would any
suggestions of the bad part.
Used Volvo's - Best Gas Mileage?06 Feb 2008 17:30 GMT7
I've got a 91 Volvo that has served me well.  Bought it used in 97.  I'm
looking at possibly getting another one whenever this one bites the dust
(could be another 10 years).  Which ones have the best gas mileage?
I'd like a wagon again too.

Group,
I just found a 73 pretty cheap. It's marginal but solid. Do these cars have
any collectible
value? I really like the looks. I'm getting it for a "beater/rain car" to
