1994 850 Station Wagon in Virginia, USA25 Mar 2008 18:15 GMT2
The dark plastic rain/wind shield on the front passenger
side window has recently been lost. The best replacement I
could find via the Internet was a complete replacement set
at a cost of $100+.  My Volvo dealer tells me that Volvo
Parking light24 Mar 2008 15:37 GMT2
I need a good used, drivers side,  parking light for my 93 940 Turbo.  It
has the built in fog lights.
Any one have one on Ebay or craigs list?

replacing the wiring harness (85 245)24 Mar 2008 01:16 GMT7
Is there an easy way to replace it? I have one, and after I installed
my new stereo yesterday, I decided to start tackling my wiring harness
over the next week (I have it off).
Is there a site anywhere that might help?

Thanks a lot!
volvo 240 Using a speedy sleeve to repair a crank shaft seal area?23 Mar 2008 19:17 GMT3
My volvo 240 is still leaking oil. I have already two times changed the
front seal at the crank shaft. I read on the internet that installing a
"speedy sleeve" might be interesting. Is it possible to do this job without
taking the crankshaft out of the engine?
Gauge/Instrument Panel on a '92 740 Turbo23 Mar 2008 17:20 GMT1
This is different from the older ones, so I'm having an extremely
difficult time figuring out how to remove the cluster. Anyone know how
to do it?

LONG BEACH - A solo-vehicle crash on a San Diego (405) Freeway offramp
in Long Beach today left two men dead and three people injured,
including two boys, ages 12 and 15, authorities said.
The accident on the Lakewood Boulevard offramp from the southbound 405
V40 starter problem (also) getting real expensive22 Mar 2008 12:19 GMT1
I saw the starter problem that "inventor" had, and wish mine could be
diagnosed so easy.
Right now, out in the driveway...I'd put money on it that my V40 will start
right up.
'93 240 AMM22 Mar 2008 02:57 GMT11
Does the computer on a '93 249\0 send a code indicating an AMM
failure? What is it? If not, how do you know that the AMM needs to be
replaced?

'93 240 won't start22 Mar 2008 02:56 GMT11
My wife went to work n our 240. She came out at the end of the day and
it spun but wouldn't start. I went there and tried to start it with
the same result. It was raining heavily so we went home.
The next day I went to the car and found the battery dead. The battery
V70 Speedo/Temp Gauge/Check Engine Light Problem20 Mar 2008 16:03 GMT2
The speedo on my V70 suddenly stopped working with no warning at all.
The needle is just dead.  The odo works fine.  At the same time the
temp gauge became very erratic, mostly staying at the cold end but
occasionally moving to normal, but never above.  Even when it shows
V70 AWD Fuel Tank17 Mar 2008 11:09 GMT1
I have a 1998 V70 AWD and have fuel leaking from somewhere on the top of
the tank, I suspect a fuel pipe. Is it possible to drop the tank without
removing the rear end ?. Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks,
Adding an HHO generator to save gas?17 Mar 2008 02:54 GMT2

Its tempting to build one of these systems and tinker with it on my
1992 Volvo 740...its paid off so I can do what I like with it, and not
worth  much, so not a big loss  if I do something that screws it up.
Towing question 92 Volvo 740.....16 Mar 2008 18:56 GMT3
Its has the std automatic tranny, turbo wagon version. Just
wondering if it could handle towing a Coleman or similar  pop-up
camper... a smaller one,  which could sleep three. No, it wouldn't
involve any steep mountain climbs, only hills. If I do that, should I
93  turbo wagon15 Mar 2008 01:58 GMT2
Does the 93 940 turbo wagon have the trany lockup?  I have had two different
asnwers. My owners for the 940 refers to it but others tell me the turbo did
not have torque converter lock up. I cannot feel the lock up as I did in my
87 940 non turbo.
