Dealer has told me that Volvo do not record the number or reference for the locking wheel nuts fitted to each car. Given the detailed recording of every minor detail of every car manufactured, it seems unbelievable that they do not record this

| S80 steering-wheel stereo-controls - what do you think of them ? | 29 May 2008 16:38 GMT | 3 |
I've come from a '99 Opel Omega to a 2003 S80 - and I've gotta say, the steering wheel stereo controls are RUBBISH. On the Omega, they can be accessed from the underside of the wheel - so the hands don't have to be moved from their driving position.

One day, the FM radio just cut out. The radio still has power, and I can get a few AM stations, but the FM audio is barely there, as if the antenna connection might have come loose. It seems to cut back in now and then as I bump along, again suggesting to me that an antenna

| ’92 Volvo 240 sedan electrical mystery | 24 May 2008 16:07 GMT | 1 |
The factory radio/cassette player was recently replaced with a new Pioneer unit. I now have an apparent grounding problem that is driving me crazy. My fuel gauge now always shows dead empty when I know I have a full tank. When I turn my headlight switch on, I have no instrument

| Oil filter cup | 22 May 2008 16:40 GMT | 1 |
Good grief, just how tight can you get the oil filter cup screwed onto its mounting base? Got the 2004 XC90 serviced for the 60K mile mark a few months back. It is ready for an oil change and getting that oil filter cup off is just not happening.
