here's a puzzler - the overflow tank keeps emptying but the car has never
run hot. it has no signs of a head gasket problem afaik (anyone want to give
me other warning signs besides coolant in oil/oil in coolant/white gunk on
oil cap/etc) i'm actually hoping maybe on of the hoses ...

I am currently looking at a 1990 740 B230 Turbo with M46 4speed w/ O/D
purchase and I have a couple of questions.
Car has 158K miles and has been well taken care of. One owner,

Dealer has told me that Volvo do not record the number or reference for the
locking wheel nuts fitted to each car.
Given the detailed recording of every minor detail of every car
manufactured, it seems unbelievable that they do not record this

I've come from a '99 Opel Omega to a 2003 S80 - and I've gotta say, the
steering wheel stereo controls are RUBBISH.
On the Omega, they can be accessed from the underside of the wheel - so the
hands don't have to be moved from their driving position.

its mounting base?  Got the 2004 XC90 serviced for the 60K mile mark a
