My sons 1985 240dl wagons clutch is slipping. How hard is it to
replace? Can it be done at home by a 60yr old with experience on

When I start my '90 740 Turbo, the SRS will stay lit.  Perhaps
coincidentally, the radio, wipers and horn will not work while the SRS
light is lit.  I've figured out that by jiggling the key in the
ignition, the light will go off and that everything on the car works

I recently acquired my first Volvo.  A 1989 240 DL w/150,000 miles
registered on a broken odometer.  This post is intended to encourage
other Volvo novices to take care of the basics.
Currently I only have the Haynes Manual and the internet for reference.

When I bought the car the speedometer didn't work. I sent it in for repair.
Speedometer Service Co. fixed it but after installation it will work
correctly for a few seconds, then peg the needle, then settle back to no
reading at all. The odometer works fine as does the tripmeter. So ...

Engine: B230F- There is no voltage going to the fuel pump(external). I
replaced the fuel pump and also the relay. I think that I need to look
at the control unit and/or the air mass meter? Hopefully, someone can
get me started in the right direction, thanks!
