My sons 1985 240dl wagons clutch is slipping. How hard is it to
replace? Can it be done at home by a 60yr old with experience on
working on cars in the 60's?

I have ’95 850 turbo wagon, has anybody heard of steering
problems,like rack and pinion? I know it needs struts,145000K on the
car, I don’t know if they can affect the steering that much.I was told
it is expensive for rack and pinion repair,anybody have advice on

When I start my '90 740 Turbo, the SRS will stay lit.  Perhaps
coincidentally, the radio, wipers and horn will not work while the SRS
light is lit.  I've figured out that by jiggling the key in the
ignition, the light will go off and that everything on the car works

Hi!  I have a 1993 240 wagon (the 4th 240 I've owned - I love them!)
with 205,523 miles on it.  Overall the car's great.  Recently,
however, I've been having trouble with the shift lock engaging even
though I'm stepping on the brake when I go to shift.  It doesn't

I bought a 2007 S60 2.5T demo with about 6,000 miles on it last November. It
now has about 13,000 miles. I love the car but it has one peculiarity that I
find puzzling.
The wheels are the alloy type with five segments and double spokes between.

Well, maybe this has been talked about already, but I'm royaller
pissed about it, nonetheless. It seems that BAR is now pulling out all
the stops as far as emitions testing is concerned. They have a new
evap testing machine in CA that can find even the slightest, tiniest

Anyone in the Toronto area have need for an old 240 that just won't
quit? This is a rare 4-door 240 Turbo with automatic transmission and
about 320K km. The car needs a new alternator but otherwise runs fine.
It's been sitting for a while but starts right up with a boost.

When I bought the car the speedometer didn't work. I sent it in for repair.
Speedometer Service Co. fixed it but after installation it will work
correctly for a few seconds, then peg the needle, then settle back to no
reading at all. The odometer works fine as does the tripmeter. So ...

Engine: B230F- There is no voltage going to the fuel pump(external). I
replaced the fuel pump and also the relay. I think that I need to look
at the control unit and/or the air mass meter? Hopefully, someone can
get me started in the right direction, thanks!

I own a 96 850 GLT Wagon 160,000 miles and going strong!
My issue is that I have this odd vibration that comes and goes at
about 70 mph.  The best way to describe it is a slow pulsing
vibration.  It seems to be coming from the rear passenger side.  I've
