Longer, Higher, Wider, Lower: Swede Driven Mad By Sunless Winter, Builds 6-Wheeled Volvo Masterpiece!23 Aug 2008 16:59 GMT2
Some Swedes cope with the sunless Scandinavian winters in the sanest way possible: pounding caffeine and/or alcohol by the hogshead. Others, however, crunch through the snow out to the shed and fire up the cutting torch, which is then used to create works of genius such as this ...

Each time I leave my 1995 854T  in a cold garage (~ 6C) while on a
winter vacation, I return to find the battery dead.  My Volvo dealer
says it's normal due to the drain from the security system.  This year,
I'm thinking about setting up a charger to come on daily for an hour or

My wife's '93 240 would occasionally have the ABS light come on. If

Anyone know where I can find a 240s "speed sensor"?06 Aug 2008 16:37 GMT2
My sons 1992 244 was in the shop today and the mechanic felt the "speed sensor"
needed to be replaced. I'm pretty sure he meant (what I've heard called) the
crank speed sensor. But, I've never dealt with it before (in the six Volvos I've
owned).

Volvo wasn't able to confirm or deny.
As I would like to replace ASAP could someone please help me out.

1997 V70.  The climate control has just recently decided that the lights

attention as it all seemed to work, but with a couple of cold nights I have
just noticed that the temp on the right side (drivers side) ...

Is there even such a thing? I am new to the Volvo world, having bought
a 2001 V70 last Spring. When ever I buy a car, I like to get a good
