I have a volvo xc7- turbo wagon. It is showing a check engine light. Someone read the code for me. PO442...."evaporative system..small leak". I have checked the gas cap and I still have the light.

I have a 1988 240DL volvo. Suddenly I am having a problem with oil leaking out the oil filler opening. I bought a new cap thniking it was an old gasket problem. it is still leaking.

Can you just plug in a 2nd hand receiver to a car that has never had remote central locking? I have '96 850 wagon in Australia. It has never had remote control for the central locking. Apparently rin Aus remote central locking

My high beams go up when I pull the switch, but then they come back down to low beam. Any ideas I can check or should I just bring it to the Volvo Place.....?? Thanks for any consideration John

Each time I leave my 1995 854T in a cold garage (~ 6C) while on a winter vacation, I return to find the battery dead. My Volvo dealer says it's normal due to the drain from the security system. This year, I'm thinking about setting up a charger to come on daily for an hour or

My sons '92 245 seatbelt/ignition key in the ignition is sounding continuoulsy. I assume it must be the relay, but am not positive. I would like to know if anyone has experienced this problem and could tell me where the relay that controls the warning "Ding-ding_ding" is

My sons 1992 244 was in the shop today and the mechanic felt the "speed sensor" needed to be replaced. I'm pretty sure he meant (what I've heard called) the crank speed sensor. But, I've never dealt with it before (in the six Volvos I've owned).

I have a classic V70 (1997), the mirror unit is broken, does the 850 mirror interchange with the early V70/S70. One wrecker says yes, one says no and Volvo wasn't able to confirm or deny. As I would like to replace ASAP could someone please help me out.

1997 V70. The climate control has just recently decided that the lights needs flash for a bit each time the key is turned on, hadn't paid much attention as it all seemed to work, but with a couple of cold nights I have just noticed that the temp on the right side (drivers side) ...
