3 years ago we leased an XC90 with the convience package - leather, rear assist and wood steering wheel. The car is and was beatiful. It was $499/month + tax, 0 down lease. Ends up being $545 every month or so.

| Plug Wires & Coil | 22 Jan 2009 18:02 GMT | 3 |
I have an 88 245 with 311,000 miles. Two questions: How often should I replace the plug wires? I put in IPD high performance wires about 75,000 miles ago, and they still seem good and flexible.

| Shift Light | 20 Jan 2009 05:19 GMT | 6 |
I have a 1988 245 with a manual transmission. If I drive over about 50 miles, the shift light comes on, and stays on. If I stop and restart the car, it is still on. If we are away for the weekend, it will stay on the entire time, and not go off until we are back home on Monday.

| V70 Rear Wash Pipe Run | 19 Jan 2009 11:03 GMT | 3 |
The rear washer on my 2002 V70 has failed - no water. It co-incides with a family of mice moving into the rear. I suspect that the mice might have chewed through the plastic water pipe.

| Brake booster check valve question | 19 Jan 2009 10:38 GMT | 4 |
In the continuing saga that is my wife's 1993 245, one that is recurrent is a terrible surging idle in cold weather. Being that we live in Minnesota, this is a 6 month a year problem, especially in the past couple of months with lots of below 0F stuff.

| Mystery lights | 18 Jan 2009 05:15 GMT | 9 |
This sounds dumb but there are four lights above one another on each side of the rear of my 1990 740 wagon. The lower three are easy but what is the top one for?? There's a bulb in there but it doesn't come on with any switch that I've

| 240 head bolt - where? | 17 Jan 2009 21:49 GMT | 1 |
Hi, Can anyone tell me where I could go to replace a 1989 240 head bolt? I asked at my local auto parts store and they did not have it. Is this the kind of thing that I could get at a good hardware, or auto store, so I do not have to pay to ship one bolt?

| Volvo skipping Tokyo show | 17 Jan 2009 08:23 GMT | 1 |
Add Swedish brand Volvo to the ever-growing list of automakers that say they won't make an appearance at the Tokyo Motor Show this coming October. Volvo joins parent company Ford, as well as General Motors and Chrysler, in skipping the biggest new car show in Japan. "We have ...

| Broken valve spring 240 | 12 Jan 2009 05:17 GMT | 4 |
I removed the head and found out that I have a broken valve spring on the exhaust valve on the #2 cylinder. This is my second head removal and it surprised me at how easy it was. The car is very rusty and I am doing this mostly as an exercise so I am going to just replace the

| Starter swap time on a '95 960 | 10 Jan 2009 12:26 GMT | 2 |
Does it take longer in Winter? 8-( Something is amiss with the drive gear, so it's time to pull the thing off. Which the manual reckons is 3 hours and a very helpful post on Brickboard claims a record of 2 hours.

| Testing the temperature sensor | 09 Jan 2009 21:01 GMT | 1 |
Basic info - 1990 740 GLE Wagon - B234F engine. 125K miles My temp gauge is extremely temperamental. Most of the time it's not working but every once in a while it will suddenly wake up and decide that it's had enough rest. That might last for a day or two and then,
