The car was driven a couple of miles. It was behaving well but had a fairly rough idle. The car came to a stop, the accelerator was press, the car began to move and then stalled and has not started since.

I was told by a friend (don't laugh) that one could clean out the inside of the engine, pistons, oil flow system, etc. by disconnecting all spark plugs, draining the oil, and pouring about a gallon of gasoline into the oil filler spout, and then cranking the engine. he

So the check engine light has been on in my friend's 240 for a couple weeks and he says the fuel economy has been lousy. I checked for fault codes and it flashes 1-1-1 which I gather means no codes are stored. I've never dealt with one this "new" so I'm not terribly familiar with

I own a 940SE (2.0Ltr Turbo) with man. gear and overdrive. During these hot summer days my engine will not start at all. When I turn the ignitionkey, all lights come on but nothing happens. With the help of a second car and cables I can start the car.

Is the fuel pressure regulator for a 1998 V70 Non-Turbo Wagon near the fuel filter underneath the car, towards the passenger side near the back? Are there two pegs that hold it in place or are those screws?

I have a 98 Volvo V70, 2.4L non-turbo FWD, Wagon and on a cold start (i.e. - overnight), the car never starts on the first attempt. On the second attempt it starts and runs at slightly lower rpms than normal and rough. Sometimes the rpms bounce around down then up again.

I'm looking at buying a 97 960. The check engine light stays on for about 60 seconds. The guy says he thinks it's because oil pressure doesn't reach what it should be till then. On any other car the light goes out a couple seconds after starting. Am I being fed a line?

My S60 is surging/hunting at idle between 700rpm and 1000rpm. It is more pronounced when the a/c is switched on. I'm thinking Mass Flow sensor. I changed the plugs today with no change in performance.

Hi folks. I finally got around to installing the donor strut towers with the jumbo brakes from a 92 960 with ABS. This was installed on an 86 740 turbo that had the dual piston girlings.
