Suddenly today the reverse ring won't allow me to go into reverse. I
removed the boot from the shift lever and found that I can pick up a
spring-loaded piece at the base of the shift lever, and it goes into
reverse. I'm guessing the ring was in some way linked to the piece, and

A month ago I heard a metallic noise from the down side of the car like
a "tin tin"
Yesterday the noise grow up and when I push the clutch pedal I hear a
continous noise. (like a old bearing noise)

740?
You see, we have a 1978 244DL with a hard plastic steering wheel. We

Does anyone have the fix for the poor AM radio reception that was released
by Volvo sometime ago? It involved putting in a brass strip to fix the
problem.

Finally got around to looking at the ignition timing after changing the
timing belt a couple weeks back. ('83 245)
12 BTD at idle, as it should be.
Then the weirdness begins. Rev it up a little and timing retards to ~5

since a week my dvd/rom is not reading my disc, I allready tried it with a
other disc but still it is not working
the display RTI is oke and says" disc not readable got to volvo
workshop"does anybody know how to solve this problem
