Hello Volvo owners,
I have a 1981 240 wagon with an AW70 transmission.  What is the
/correct/ method for checking the transmission oil level?  I hear about

Car still starts and runs, but runs rough and none of the electrical
systems work except headlights, check engine  and some minor dashboard
lights.  No electric locks, windows, no dashboard lights.   ?: Help!

I have just removed my volvo cr 702 radio from my 740 and am trying to
fit a godard radio we bought a wireing harness . But on thge back of
the volvo radio there was a din plug with 6 pins . I have power to the
new radio but no connections to the speakers is this din plug holding

    I took my 1990 S70 into the dealer to get an extra key made and they
(on their own) downloaded a software throttle upgrade after which the
cruise control did not work. This is a car that was manufactured in
Canada and some of the software is for that country. I took it back in

Got the front disc brake pads changed and all four cylinders were bled
a LOT until no bubbles coming out, and then pumped out some more fluid
from each.   Still,  the pedal moves about 1/2 to 3/4 down before the
brakes take effect.  And when moving downward (to reach that point)

Perfect for 6V to 12V conversion in 544 or 444!
