71 bus brake question14 Dec 2003 22:43 GMT5
My 71 bus is giving me some weird brake problems.  When I first start
the bus and hit the brakes for the first time, the pedal resistance is

Well, I went out and purchased a regular engine stand and instead of buying
a VW engine stand to modify to work on this stand, I decided to build my own

what is MoS2 ?14 Dec 2003 16:24 GMT30
Before trying to remove the drum brake nuts I pour some oil for rusty
nuts and I read in the spray that it contains normal oil plus a compound
called MoS2 (Molybdenum sulfide I believe). Does anyone know what
exactly does this compound do? I mean chemistrywise.

OK, there are 5 wires coming off the Sapphire XV that came in the parts car
I bought. The speaker wires appear to be together (like twin lead), the
ground is attached to a bolt on the chassis of the radio, there is a fused
black lead (I assume +12V) and a blue lead ...

What the hell does 'shizzle my nizzle' mean? Seriously, I feel like I'm
falling so far behind that I'm going to be at the next level beyond 'olde
pharte' if I don't find out what this means pretty soon.

some are really bad.  Anyone know how to determine if they are
original vw before I pay to have them rechromed?  I know they weigh
