The car is in Sandia Park, just about 20 minutes East of Albuquerque. 14,000 miles on rebuilt 1600cc - runs strong, no smoke, all cooling tin. AC.net SVDA dizzy, oil changed every 2k and valves adjusted every 2k. Points and timing adjusted every 4k.

Some, if not all versions of the Muir repair manual recommend disabling the choke in order to save fuel. My thoughts on that: 1) with the engine cold, you end up blipping teh throttle with your foot

Working on the fenders is going to be my next step and all of my turn signals are fine except the plastic lenses have these tiny cracks through them. I was wondering if anyone has come up with a way to strengthen or weld together these lenses?
