Hello NG! I'm searching for a door for my 1303. A guy far away has a new door which should fit all Beetles between 65 and 72 (he told me). I always thinked that all doors after 68 will fit my 74 1303.

I recently purchased a 74 SB. The last time I owned an aircooled VW was 25 years ago and it was a 1967. I live in the central valley of California and it is quite warm now and rarely gets below freezing even in the dead of winter. The car is driven daily to and from work

Two questions. 1. Two pieces arrived in the package. I assume the larger "U" shaped piece goes around the rear of the apron (front of the engine). Where does the smaller piece go?

Sure made a big difference on my '66 with drums all the way around. If you haven't done it for awhile, I suggest don't wail until you have spongy brakes like I did. Only took about 45 minutes to complete all 4 brakes. -tom

I have a 1974 VW beetle and need to replace the front axle. I removed the six bolt, disconnected the brake drums, tie rods. Can the axle be removed without cutting the front bumper enforcers? If they are cutted, do I need to weld them back?

This is a gas tank out of a 1975 VW Bus ((will fit '74 thru '79 (???)). It is whole and tight, but is rusty on the inside so would need to be 'bathed' inside (with chemicals, a common procedure) before installation.

75 SB Converted to Carb After gloating how my Bug was purring...it crapped out at a stop light. Wouldn't turn over several times. Adjusted points, enough to get it sputtering to a idle with lots of gas. Found out that the ball bearing metal holder was broke and the ball bearing ...
