Hi gang, my old 61 style master cylinder in giving me troubles. I replaced it last year and have replaced the top grommet twice since. I've heard you can upgrade the master cylinder to a newer year model. Anyone know what year and the procedure in the swap? Pics? thanks..

Ok, so I've gotten the whole engine assembled up to putting on the generator pedestal, when I realize as I'm looking at the case that there's no place for the oil dipstick. ARRGHHHH...I've got a type III case!

Might be a real dumb question...but..is there any way to use a later regulator..after 69 on a 67 bug???..Can you make them fit/work??..Just never had any luck with the replacement/aftermarket ones. pat

Somehow, while the car was in pieces for the past 12 years, I have forgotten where the ground lugs near the injectors go. Do they go under the fuel injector retainer nuts, the intake manifold to head nuts, or under sheet metal screws? I did remember the lug at the breather.
