Okay, so she's not going to be driven anytime soon, but I did order my new upholstery from aircooled.net the other day. This will be my first step towards putting the car back together after all of the time I spent taking it apart/stripping paint/losing parts after moving :-)

I was given a 72ish dual port motor recently and a friend of mine mentioned it might have a Porsche generator on it. Is there any way to tell if it is and how much that might be worth?

| Key switch and other issues | 26 May 2006 18:27 GMT | 16 |
What was the first year that bugs had the key switch in the column? The reason I ask is I recently bought what was supposedly a 69 standard beetle. I talked with another guy who has a 70 and his key switch is in the dash. Another problem with the switch is when ya pull the key out
