i found a 1970 vert- that has a swingaxle and 4 bold rims... ? is that possible? or would that indicate a conversion of some sort? thanks jjd

on a 71 beetle, i know the timing is supposed to be at 5 degrees atdc, but i dont know what mark on my pulley is 5 degrees atdc my pulley has 2 marks on it, 1 at the inside(case side) and one at the outside(facing rear of car)that is about half an inch to the right of the

I would like to put a 67 body I have onto a 70 irs pan. From what I understand, other than the DMV red tape, there is just one modification needed to the rear body mount. Is this true and does anyone know of a web site that shows the modifications to the rear mounts?

I'm thinking of going from an paper filter to an oil bath filter at my next oil change. I have a 1600DP with a 30PICT3 in my SB. I want to make the change to see if it runs better in the cooler mornings. My current intake manifold does not have the vac hookup for the paper

Trying to restore a 79 bug. When i put the key in, it won't turn. I thought maybe there's a problem with the steering wheel lock but can't get it to turn. any ideas?

I used to have part of a bellhouseing from a beetle i would bolt to the engine hook a starter to it, fuel, etc., and be able to start myy motors on the stand. Well, I loaned it out, and it is long gone....... I know a vendor used to sell a similar item where you used your own
