An FYI for you folks looking for inexpensive/rare parts for VW's.  I
was looking all over for tune-up parts for my 62 VW bug distributor ,
which apparently is a rare specimen - no identifying numbers, not made
by Bosch.  I looked in all the usual places, VW Aircooled, Mid America,
Shift rod bushing....31 Jul 2006 04:42 GMT1
The 71 Super I bought had one of the sloppiest shifters out of all of
them I have had.  Once I located my local Bug store I picked up a rear
coupler, a shift rod bushing and a quick shift kit.  When I went to put
the shift rod bushing in I notoced that the hole was wore out in a ...

Hi Everyone;

An image of a new post or your old intact one during restoration or a drawing would do.
Can anyone help please.

Hey everyone. Thought I would offer this car to the group before
advertising locally. Bought this 75 Beetle with an AutoStick for my

1967 Body on a 1970 IRS pan27 Jul 2006 16:12 GMT2
I would like to put a 67 body I have onto a 70 irs pan.  From what I
understand, other than the DMV red tape, there is just one modification
needed to the rear body mount.  Is this true and does anyone know of a web
site that shows the modifications to the rear mounts?
