I can not get my rail buggy to go into 1st or 3rd gear with out it grinding and the shift rod moving forward. This is a 5 rib tranny sedan trany I was told. gear pattern is 1 3

That is, remove the air-cooled internal combustion engine and replace with an electric drive motor, battery pack, charger, and associated controls. Anybody ever done it? What were the results? Are there sources for conversion kits?

I just drove a 74 ghia that has been setting in a local junk yard for the last 15 years but last registered in 87. It seems to be all original including the thin white wall ply tires. After washing the body it looks better then most unrestored ghias I've seen. does have

I am in the process of fixing up a '68 bus. I thought I read somwhere a few months ago that the insulation around the heater pipe (underneath bus) is wrapped in Asbestos. Is that true?
