69 semi auto tranny is makeing a heavy tapping sound, like a very loose rocker. It runs good but sounds bad and seems to be worse when in reverse. Any help would be appreciated

Can someone direct me to a source on how to install the rubber around the vent windows on a 69 Bug? It looks like the window frame (the chrome part that moves) needs to be removed and reinstalled with new rivets in order to get the rubber piece in
