I have a 1500 single port 1968 ? with out vacume advance  ,didn't they
use one or did somebody take it off ?

Hi, just bought a partially-restored 79 Super Beetle from a guy who
started it and lost interest.  Front turn signal lights don't work
properly.  I don't know if the previous owner didn't wire it right or
the person who painted it.  Anyway, there are three wires coming up

folks: this "problem" keeps coming up and i've yet to discover what
causes it. it's an unearthly clatter from the engine of our '81 vanagon
after it has been parked for a few days. after the engine runs for a

I'm in the process of rebuilding the brakes on our stock '62 beetle &
I'd really like to convert from the single circuit system to a dual
system.  Can anyone give me some pointers on what I need to do this in

Hey do the new style alternators fit on the original stand that came with
the later engines with the Motorola alternators?  I sure hope so but FLAPS
says no.
