another and are NGK,s better? You would think if the heat ...

Finished the handrails on the deck steps today24 Dec 2008 22:28 GMT1
Still have to put up the lattice and a couple of gates under the deck
and redo a small portion of upper handrail...  and do the risers on
the steps.  But the deck is now 100% usable.  Hopefully I'll
COMPLETELY wrap it up within the next few days.

Eventually my 1977 beetle is going to need a new engine and I am now
starting to have some running problems.  About the Beetles made in
Mexico during the late 1990's, do those engines fit on this '77?  I
wonder if my current electric fuel pump will work for it and if I can

ADJUSTING  VW  VALVES  --  AGAIN23 Dec 2008 16:15 GMT5
I get a LOT of mail about adjusting the lash on Volkswagen valves, and
much of that mail comes from folks who are FLYING behind a converted

The basic message is that for an in-service engine you DO NOT use the

Faster engine warmup question. Help Please!19 Dec 2008 19:00 GMT12
A few of the ac vw owners here that happen to be Puerto Rican,

will heat up faster.  By-the-way I'm not knocking Puerto Ricans.
I was thinking of trying it for the cold weather.
