I have a '74 Super, and I am having problems with the headlights, and
dash lights, flickering, occasionally. It does not happen all the time,
but when the lights flicker, the generator light comes on, and the
headlights and the generator lights are very bright, and the flickering ...
Who is brave enough to tell me? :-)27 Jun 2009 05:52 GMT48
The "break in" process for an air cooled engine has any many
explanations as there are actual air cooled engines. <g> I am always
listening for those who have actually done it, and succeeded, so if
you have, I would like to hear from you.

67 Bumpers17 Jun 2009 04:50 GMT1
Finally moved the 67 from the barn to the garage.
Didn't have time to get it running so ended up towing it with the
tractor.
In the process I kind of bunged up the old nerf bars a bit and noticed

Alternator light11 Jun 2009 00:01 GMT11
I noticed that my alternator light comes slightly as I increase RPMs.
The closer to idle, the more it turns off.  I checked the voltage at
idle and it was about 12.8.  At about 2000 rpms, it was about 16.5.
The battery is new.  Before I replaced the battery, I would sometimes
34 PICT Mixture issue10 Jun 2009 23:29 GMT6
I'm running a Formula Vee in Australia that uses a Solex 34 PICT-3
carby on a 1600 Engine.
On the dyno, the mixtures are not looking right, basically, it is
running too lean at low RPM, and rich at high RPM.
Need help with 68 Bug08 Jun 2009 03:33 GMT5
1.  Can the preheater pipe be blocked off or not used?
2.  Should gas have enough pressure to keep the filter full of gas?
3.  What is the best electric fuel pump to replace original fuel
pump?  Also, should a pressure regulator be used?
Another brake question07 Jun 2009 01:55 GMT4
now that I installed a rebuilt Master cylinder ,the bleeding begins.
It seems when I pump the brake I hear a bubble or two come up into the
reservoir.\ So, is this normal? will  bubbling stop when all the air is
evacuated?  the pedal is still quite low.
