A buddy of mine is looking for the wiring connector which connects the to the plastic housing on his Mk3 fogs. It's a two-prong female plastic part.... Does anyone have a source for these? He's tried most of the online places

Alright, just replaced the alternator..thanks to those that helped me. Now it seems the starter is having problems. It happened right as the alternator went bad. There is a hesitation when I turn the key and it makes that strangled duck sound like the car is already on when it

I do not have owner manual, but I got the code. On my cabrio 1992 I can remove the battery for 6 months and still can work the radio but on my 94 I just disconnect the battery for 2 min and now it is in SAFE mode, Can someone tell-me the procedure to enter my codes?

I've got the new alternator in the car but I'm having a brain fart with the wiring. I've got 3 wires to connect to the sucker but on the alternator, I only see 2 places where they could go. I've got a thicker wire and two others, a brown and a green. The Bently manual

I have a Passat TDI (110bhp) that i suspect the MAF sensor is playing up, my brother in law has a Passat TDI (90bhp), are the MAF unit the same so I can swap his for mine to see if I can eliminate my lack lustre acceleration around the 3000 rpm mark.

I have a mk3 Golf Gti 16V. When the car gets warm there is a petrol smell entering ther car from engine bay. I know this because if I turn off the heater blower the petrol smell dissapears. The smell is only evident when the engine is warm and in slow moving

I have just changed the rear caliper on my 2001 vw golf tdi, i am having problems with getting the brake pedal to respond, i bleed the brakes by pumping the pedal and i get fluid to come out, although after a few seconds the pedal is soft again. can anyone help please.
