The steering wheel on my VR6 has started making a scraping noise when it's turned. Closer investigation reveals that the problem is caused by the horn contact on the steering column scraping against the conductive ring on the back of the wheel.

I have a 1999 VW Polo 1.0L and even when the ignition is off with the key out the dashboard instrument panel is still lit up, this drains the battery very quickly. When I adjust the intensity of the light from the panel the lights fade/brighten under the heater controls but

When slowing down at junctions etc and I put the clutch in my Golf Mark 2 GTi sometimes stalls. It idles fine but when the clutch goes down the revs fall below the normal idle speed. Usually it quickly recovers but sometimes it stalls any ideas greatfully received.

hey y'all i got a 96 jetta that does not want to start. it will turn over but will not fire. i have brought it to several mechanics who are stumped and i have messed with it to my extent....i have changed the spark plugs and wires , fuel pump and cannot see anything
