After a period of comma, my new starter is in, and the 92 Jetta is alive
again.. Ran fine , but after a few later starts with a short period of
running I noticed the alternator light would flicker a bit, but then cleared
up as I ran it.... maybe the starter is acting up...hmmm

Several months ago one of my first fix items on my 92 Jetta was a change of
the drivers side drive axle (automatic trans).  This is the short one.

I have replaced my 1999 passat 1,8t wagon in November 2003 by a brand new
2004 passat 1,8t wagon.
I have loved my 1999 despite they had to change front suspension parts 13

I am thinking of buying a Jetta TDI (probably new) and would like to hear
opinions about this car... I am especially interested in reliability and
maintenance costs... I heard some horror stories about VW electrical
problems... Also, is it as fuel efficient as Golf TDI?

I received a 98 beetle with check engine light on P1128 code- long term fuel
trim too lean, found air pump hose disconnected from air cleaner, after
reconnecting will still set code after 10-20 miles of driving. I hear a
hissing from the 1/4" vacuum hose that enters the air intake ...

well I was driving along today in my "rat" '87 Golf and the radio
stopped and power didnt sem to be getting to it, not only that the
indicators wouldnt work either the green light just came on when i moved
the indicator arm up or down but no flashing lights?

I've got a heater blower and a fuse box, used to own an 80 diesel and 81
gasoline, heater blower should work in either, both non A/C, I dont remember
where the fuse box came from, I suppose I could look for a parts # if anyone
