i have a 85 vw jetta, i have had the brakes changed,calipers,brake lines, rotors , master cylinder all changed.. and i still have no brakes... they wont pump up. i was told i had a bad master cylinder and so far have replaced it 3 times... am out of ideas and my mechanic cant find ...

Are the struts on the mk2 8v and 16v's interchangeable? Just wondering as I have a good set of spare 16v front suspension legs and a mk2 8v that desperately needs a new set on it. Would it mean having to go over to 16v hubs?
