I get an increadible noise as the speed increases to freeway speeds. At 80 mph it is deafening. I think it may be the exhaust system, but I am not sure. It does not seem to do this at high revolutions while parked. Any thoughts out there?

i was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the window regulator for a 97 cabrio and a 97 golf? i can get a golf regulator (w/out motor) for $50. i can't find one for a cabrio for less than $320 or so.

I just transplanted my main fuel pump from my 89 1.8l digifant golf into my 86 CIS-E as it was intermittantly dying and refusing to start. Initially this seems to have worked. The part number was slightly different from one pump to the other.
