Online 'Dealer' Parts Source?31 Mar 2006 14:50 GMT4
I feel like a newbie asking this, but the typical parts places I've used

listed online).
I need a fuel line.  The 'local' stealer won't order it unless I trot up

I get an increadible noise as the speed increases to freeway speeds.
At 80 mph it is deafening.  I think it may be the exhaust system, but I
am not sure.  It does not seem to do this at high revolutions while
parked.  Any thoughts out there?

Anybody know the pinout for older Blaupunkt radios ?29 Mar 2006 22:13 GMT4
Yeah, I know it's somewhat off topic, but I figured I'd ask here, since a
lot of VW owners know a thing or two about Blaupunkt.
The Radio in question is a Blaupunkt SQR26 "Portland", circa mid '80s. It's
the older-style connector with a large 6-pin power connector and 4 small
alternator current draw29 Mar 2006 10:07 GMT2
I've been having this problem of my battery being killed and I figured out
that my alternator is drawing current when the car is off.  It'll basicallly
completely kill the battery overnight.
I figured it out by pulling fuses and checking voltage at the battery.  I
16V  DUH!  access to spark plugs-29 Mar 2006 04:50 GMT4
I got carried away spraying degreaser and now the shafts to my spark plugs

I can only think of two ways to get rid of the excess: 1.  remove the plug
and let the cylinder get drenched, or  2.  flood the shaft with water and
Digi pump in CIS-e29 Mar 2006 04:33 GMT6
I just transplanted my main fuel pump from my 89 1.8l digifant golf into my
86 CIS-E as it was intermittantly dying and refusing to start.  Initially
this seems to have worked.  The part number was slightly different from one
pump to the other.

I have 96 GTI VR6; I noticed the coolant reservoir low about a week
