2006 Jetta- Locks21 Nov 2006 12:38 GMT1
Ok this has been driving me nuts, wife has a new Jetta 2006, whose doors do
not unlock when the car is put into park.  You have to actually hit the
unlock button manually on the door or on the key to unlock the doors after

longevity 15+ or more years, maintenance requirements low; not expensive,
easy to work on even with a vague maintenance/repair manual like Bentley's,
what is an equivalent nowadays?  What would you buy ...

New "City Golf" models - anyone looked at them?20 Nov 2006 05:36 GMT7
Here in Canada, VW is advertising the "City Golf" and "City Jetta" as
their entry-level cars, at what seems to be pretty attractive pricing.
For example, the City Jetta has a base sticker price of only $14,900
CAD.  http://www.vw.ca/vwca/models/0,,143,00.html
