1999 Passat Heated wing mirrors19 Nov 2006 18:48 GMT7
I have had a Passat TDI 115 sport and don't know if its got heated wing
mirrors that don't work or just normal mirrors.
If its got heated mirrors how do you switch them on.
If its got heated mirrors that don't work what can cause it.
94 Polo MoT fail19 Nov 2006 17:53 GMT3
Girlfriends Polo has failed its MOT on excessively corroded brake lines from
the front load sensor to the offside rear. They quoted £180 yet I've looked
and they look fine from as much as I can see without lifting the car to see
into the engine. The brake lines go round the fuel ...

Volkswagen's born-again Rabbit replaces Golf
Marketing is a murky world indeed. Some ideas work and some don't. Some
can make or break a product, while others are insignificant enough that
their product impact is practically nil.

Anyone know ballpark how much/ how hard it is to replace and in all
probability how it broke?

One of my co-workers drives 1988 era VW Golf Gasser. He reports that the
idle is not behaving with the car reving wildly with no intervention on the
throttle. Can any of you point him into what to check. He is avoiding
stealerships and wants to fix it himself. Where should he ...

My wife has new 2006 Golf Mk5 GTI DSG.

93 MV 2.519 Nov 2006 01:06 GMT3
I wonder if anyone has the answer...I just got this van and it appears
to lack serious get up and go. Compared to my 86 Volvo sedan wit the
2.3 four cylinder, it seems rather lack luster. When it is in drive it
can't make 40mph on a hill? Also to get upto 65mph seems to take an
Coolant Loss - Mk2 Golf Syncro18 Nov 2006 19:15 GMT2
My coolant leaks to below min but then stabilises.
The system has been pressure tested and has no leaks. The gasket is sound
or the engine would have stopped by now. I had a similar problem on my
previous car of the same model.

I'm not in the least bit car minded, but thought I was capable of
changing a battery!
My daughter has a 98' Polo, and I can't figure out how you get the clip

Has anybody considered, or even accomplished changing the DRL on an A4
Golf from using the low beams to using the small, secondary bulb that
resides in the high beam reflector?
This little bulb comes on when you turn the headlight switch on and I

I have a 95 Trek [MIII/A3/Vento for the search engines] and the driver

The latch doesn't line up anymore, I have to lift the door somewhat
