My 2003 VR6 engine failed on the expressway last week.  The stop engine

side of the engine block.  What are all the reasons that this could
happen?  My car and I do not live in the same country and I had the oil

My seventeen year-old daughter has a 1999 Jetta. Every time she tries
to unlock the car the alarm goes off. She's begun to leave the car
unlocked at night. (Not a good thing to do in St. Louis... the #1 crime
city in America.) I told her that she probably needs to replace the

The brushes are worn on my alternators voltage regulator.  Can just the
brushes be replaced?
IF not I looked into getting a new regulator as they are only about $25.

Re: 99 Jetta key remote10 Nov 2006 18:55 GMT1
the remote can be pried open carefully and the battery is easy to replace with special attention to which side is the + and the - pole.  If you break it, I just saw one for sale on eBay for $6

I currently own a Mk 4 Golf (2003) TDi 100 BHP Match.

94 VW Jetta Fuel Filter10 Nov 2006 11:43 GMT4
Help.
My car shuts off as I'm driving. Sometimes I can pump and restart it.
Sometimes it has to sit for 5 minutes before I can restart it. I had
the fuel lines cleaned.
92 Cabriolet heater core, it's supposed to be easy!?!?10 Nov 2006 10:52 GMT2
I could really use some insight into this by someone who's done it.  The
heater core is accessible through a slot in the side of the heater box on
the drivers side but it can only come out 4 inches before it runs into the
pedal assemblies.  I figured when I first looked at it ...
