Some European imports are set up for rear fogs, with everything
except a lightbulb in the socket and a switch on the dash. My old
US-model '94 Saab actually had a working rear fog light. I'm told
that some current Audis have working rear fogs.

Well, my 91 Automatic Vanagon has a starting problem.  About 65% of the
time (and growing) I go to start her up there is no noise or cranking
or anything from the engine area.  The electric works fine at this
time.

Speedometer stopped working yesterday.  Yesterday evening, I disconnected
the speedometer cable from speedometer.  Removed the driver's side duct and
duct panel from dash.  Extended the speedometer cable throught the hole in
the dash where the duct panel was.

95 Jetta...suddenly now just about every OTHER time I start this car
the speedometer and tach do not work (although the tack needle shakes
incessantly at 0 trying to move....).......it's not a broken cable
because it works fine, both speed and tach when it wants

HI, sorry if this is a subject already well covered but I couldn't find
much info on it, so any help / advice would be appreciated!

I'm still driving my trusty '86 GTI, with a mere 138,000km on the odometer.
Nevertheless, 19 years of Canadian winter driving and salted roads have
eaten away at wheel wells, and the bottoms of both doors.  Presumably, over

I have a 97 Jetta that has recently started making noises.  When I turn

I tried looking for the dipstick but theres none.
we recently purchased this car and it has about 97k miles.
I didnt ask the previous onwer and i dont believe that he changed the

I have just bought another Mk 2 Polo C 1043 cc 1985. It naturally has a few
problems to sort out among them a leaking petrol tank. I have to get another
one from a scrappy but can anyone tell me up to what year is mine

My Mk2 Golf 1.6 litre 1990.
I am in the process of renewing the distributor cap, but one of the
connectors into the distributor cap has broken and left its metal terminal
on the metal terminal pin in the old distributor cap.
