ok, all of a sudden, i have a weird issue. my remote alarm and door
lock and hood opener, do not work. they also do not work from
internally. there must be a fuse blown, but i haven;t found which one
yet?

I just wanted to post a good experience (if I can call it that)
Last year, my jetta would start on cold days without being plugged in
(-15 Celsius was about as cold as it got in Kingston when unplugged).
It would turn over slow, but eventually it would go.

I have a 1997 Jetta and the radio stopped working. (I installed
another after market radio and it doesnt work either)  It appears that
the ignition switch is not turning the radio on.  Is this possible?  
How can I bypass this swich?  How can I check the ignition switch on

I have a 2002 Passat. Got it used a couple of months ago. It just
started having this quirk with the driver's door sensor. The car
indicates that the drivers door is open....when it isn't. And it won't

Drivers side heated seat got really hot, burnt my leg slightly then stopped
working.  Others have said VW had a recall for this. I rang VW but they had
to recollection of such a recall.
Am I being "fobbed" off?

We have Haynes and Chilton manuals for a 1995 Jetta 4-cyl, but not the
factory manual or a Bentley (if they do VWs).  The books we have don't
tell us how to test the heated MAF, but instead have useless test
procedures for the vane-sytle and piston airflow sensors.

I rear-ended a minivan (in the snow) in my golf 1.8 8v.  Unfortunately,
it busted the radiator and dripped all the coolant.  It didn't
overheat, but it is running rough and the coolant light is flashing
(after about a minute) when I refill the resevoir.  What do you think

The rear (wash)wipe on out 2003 mdy is not working.
I have been told that the pipe is liable to come apart along the route from
Engine bay to rear hatch.
