fuel pump or injectors ?22 Jan 2007 05:26 GMT7
       I have a 1988 Jetta (non-GLI).  After driving it a brief time,
it gets rough and looses power.  All the plugs are getting a
spark, because I can see the spark if I pull off the plug
wire.  First, the cylinders on the passenger side quit working

I am wondering if anyone has had this problem, or might know the cause.
I recently has the heater core in my 2001 Golf replaced. Now when the
car sits for a long time on the street heavy condensation builds up on
the windshield and windows. This time it is not the greasy film
Burning smell... 96 Golf 1.820 Jan 2007 22:27 GMT6
Lent my Golf 1.8 to a friend, when he returned it the oil level had
dropped below min (not off the stick) and the coolant level had
dropped below min. Never lost any coolant before. Car normally
consumes a negligible amount of oil.

I've posted this on another forum and no one answered. I hope someone

Regardless of the speed, if the steering wheel is turned quickly

tell me it was all a bad dream.
water puddle under car19 Jan 2007 04:09 GMT21
