| 1995 A3 Jetta - Automatic Transmission Problems | 17 Jan 2007 03:10 GMT | 15 |
Hello all ... My daughter's '95 A3 Jetta's automatic transmission has been acting up recently. If you put it in "D" it seems to slip through first and into second. You can manually shift through the gears without a problem.

I'm in the market for a nice Mk2 Golf GTi if anyone out there is flogging one for sensible money. Read sensible as "not expensive". Don't mind a bit of MOT work, but something solid and driveable would be

I'm halfway through the long process of bringing back an 81 Rabbit diesel from the nearly-dead. It has A/C, though I'm not certain it is original since the control on the inside, a rotary switch affair, seems patched in. Anyway, the compressor turns but seems too stiff - caused

| 02 Jetta 1.8 turbo: leaking transmission cooler--> needs new tranny? | 14 Jan 2007 05:45 GMT | 1 |
Took my car to the VW dealership (75K miled) and turns out tranny fluid and radiator fluid are mixing together. NOT GOOD! They claimed it needed new hoses, tranny, and radiator tank. Estimate $5900. No explanation as to the cause of the problem or if the $5900 would
