I have a 2001 Passat GLS V6 4Motion which has developed transmission
shift problems.
The drain holes in the sunroof became clogged and I ended up with water
under the rear passenger seat. I fixed the drain problem and dried up

Got an L reg Vento....the passenger side brake light went so I changed it.
Ever since then, whenever I brake the passenger side headlight comes on!
Now, don't get me wrong, this is hardly a calamity but IS annoying!
Any ideas??

I need to remove the front and rear seats in my 2003 passat sedan.  I
have bought OEM leather seats from another 2003 passat.
How are the seats removed?

Considering purchase of an 88 vanagon, about 110,000 miles.  Manual
transmission.  Not a camper.
I vaguely recall that some of the vanagons have an insanely expensive
and complex exhaust system -- would that include the 88 models?

I'm confused about whether or not the US version of the 2007 Passat
wagon has DSG as an option or not.  I've seen some apparently US reviews
say that the DSG transmission is amazing while others say that the lack
of DSG hurts performance.  Even VW's own site shows it as a Passat

does anyone know how to install a new license holder onto the front
bumper for a 2000 new beetle?  Just picked up a replacement part at the
dealers and it appears to be some type of push on part.

during winter in the NorthEast?  I am guessing 5w30, but thought I
