Hey I was wondering if this has happened to anyone, or if anyone can
tell me what the problem may be. When I am driving at a slower speed
(0- 70km) my car is smooth as usual, but right when I get to about
90-100km, the car begins to shake. It has never done this before.

I have a 1999 (new body style) Jetta I just had a quick question about
my check engine light. It was extremely cold here a few days ago, and
I don't think I let the car warm up enough before I took off. As such,

All my tail lights work except my brake lights, checked the fuse and
bulbs... could it be the brake light switch? Where is this located and
how do I check if it is ok or not.

I`ve got a 52 plate VW Passat in black that someone has very kindly reversed
into the front of with a towing ball.  It`s knocked out and lost the lower
black plastic grill underneath the number plate (which has also bee slightly
cracked at the bottom - I`ll be replacing this too)

My 85 A2 Jetta Turbodiesel has just recently started a vibration at
idle.
Idle speed is about the same 8-900 and reving it somewhat does not
smooth it

When car is cold and outside temperatures low , the transmission seems not
engaging immediately in first gear. Engine's revolutions are about 2000rpm
but car slightly move. After running for 30 sec or so  is fine and no
problems after that ,until next day when is  cooled off. I ...

I'm hoping to look at a 1998 S Reg Passat 1.9TDi (110hp) Estate tomorrow
with a serious view to buying. The seller has indicated to me that there are
a few problems with the rear drivers side door...
1. intermittent fault with central locking on that door alone.

Can I run a 2004 TDI on Veggie Oil?  I'm having a running debate about this.

Hi everyone, I need a bit of help with my "spooky" car - a few
problems which have started happening a few days ago:
- when I lock the car the alarm light (the little red one on the
driver's side) does not always flash

I replaced the cylinder head, cylinder head bolts, timing belt,
tensioner, and head gasket on my 78 VW Rabbit Diesel.  It runs great,
but now leaks a small quantity of oil into the coolant.  I then

First off this is just a small problem and my gti is the best car I've
owned ever. A few months back I pushed back on the drivers seat to
reach into my pocket and the lumbar broke. It seems like it is a bar
that turns in the seat and it may have stripped out. Does anyone know
