I just bought a 1998 VW GTI VR6. The guy I bought if from says is has "Shine "lite" suspension (Bilstein sports all around, Shine 200 lb. front springs with stock VW rear springs, Shine rear sway bar)". I am wondering if I can fit light weight 18" wheels on it with this

I have a 1984 GTI Rabbit WITHOUT air conditioning. I need to replace my heater core. I've searched through previous post and am still not clear on the procedure. Does the heater box need to be removed or can I just take a side panel off

Just bought a 1998 VW Jetta a week ago, really like it but tonight it will not start - just whirls and whirls - had our mechanic come by and is getting no fire and no gas - he is suspicious it could be something to do with the security - alarm system? I do not have an owners

To please "diy-newby", who was 'complaining' that it is quiet here, heres a question for you. Looking in the owners hand book for my 06 Passat. the wheel bolt torque setting is shown as 120.Nm that seems a little high to me. (about 90 - 95 ft-lbs)

Woods are designed differently than irons. With an iron, you should essentially be hitting "down" on the ball. That's not really the case with the woods, so it may cause problems if you set up to the ball in exactly the fashion that I described above. Here's the solution.

L Reg 1800 VW Vento My electric sunroof has gone doolally! For a while it didnt seem very keen to close, it didnt seem to close evenly. One side would stick as the other carried on moving normally.

Seems to be my year to have car troubles. My 89 jetta (1.8 8v) has started doing something kind of wierd. She'll be driving a long fine and then start to lose power, as if either she's getting starved out or no spark.

I`ve just replaced the front grill on my Passat, and have the old one here. One of the screw brackets has snapped off and it`s a bit old (looks OK, just not mint). is it of any use to anyone, before it gets thrown out?
