I've got the 6 bolts out of the differential flange on the driver's side
cv joint (96 passat glx, 01M auto trans.) but the bugger won't separate.
I think it's rusted on. I've tapped it a bit with a sledge, but I'm a
little nervous about whacking too hard because I don't want to ...

I have a '90 Golf and the rear passenger door won't open.  The child
lock is on (I think) from the inside and the outside handle is
broken.  What do I do?

I have a VW Corrado G60 and I am having problems...it stalls, loss of
power, Black Smoke coming from exhaust.  I replaced Cat. Converter, O2
Sensor, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Distributor Cap, rotor, checked fuel
injectors, and even replaced the ECU.  Its still the same I dont know

not to long ago i ended up launching my 1998 golf wolfsberg edition
into a puddle that was actually up to my shift knob ive draind the oil
changed the plugs but she wont rev higher than 3500 and will only run
at idle in gear can someone please tell me whats wrong with this thing

I have a 1998 Golf which has 110,000 km on it and is generally in pretty
good shape. It has not suffered any major failures yet and I'm trying to
make sure I have maintained vital parts to prevent expensive failures on
long trips, specifically engine related.

I have found a Golf TDI on a auctionsite i maybe will bid on. The engine is
broken. The cambelt broke during driving.

Does anyone know how to remove the passenger side airbag from a 2006 New
Beetle convertible? It has been expended and I need to remove it.
Also, where is the module hidden so I can either replace or reset it.

My 2002 2.0L Automatic Golf wouldn't shift out of Park this morning.
The TCS/ESP warning light was illuminated on the dashboard for the
first time. Only when I pushed the brake way down to the floor was I
able to shift into Drive.

My 2003 Passat 1.8T station wagon's battery was dead when I tried to
drive home last Monday evening.  The headlight switch was off, but a
coworker told me that my lights had been on earlier in the day.  We jump
started the Passat and I drove it home successfully.

I have an 85 GTi that sat in my backyard for a couple of years. It
does not run.  I was told to turn the key halfway and listen for the
transfer pump.  I did that and heard nothing and was then told to
test/ buy a new fuel pump relay.  Is there any way i can test this

A few days ago I was reversing the car into the main road and after I
changed gear to move forward the car started to judder very harshly which
then stalled the engine.
I restarted it so that I could move out of the way quickly to prevent the

I bought a golf gl Mk2 1987 and Ive been trying to get it going like
crazy lately. There are a couple wires that are unplugged, therefor
leaving me to the conclusion that the engine is not stock. There is
one slightly thicker then all the rest GREEN wire that has a yellow
