’80 Rabbit 1600 CIS starts fine when cold, but it won’t start warmed
up unless I use starting fluid.  Runs fine once it starts.   Seems
temperature related, but I’m stumped.

’99 VW Cabrio... Throttle Body, A/C, Is it worth it?05 Mar 2007 13:48 GMT3
:(
I have a 99 VW Cabrio that has been in the shop more than I choose to
admit.  It now has 99k miles on it and is acting very strangely.

Thermo-time Switch Wiring05 Mar 2007 13:13 GMT2
’80 Rabbit.  Both wires going to the thermo-time switch light up a
test light when the starter is engaged.  Shouldn’t one be a ground?
I’m testing on the disconnected plug.
#1 Injector Problem on a 1995 Jetta05 Mar 2007 04:42 GMT16
My son has a 1995 Jetta.  It's got a 4411 code (open or short on
Injector #1).  We swapped injectors with #4 and the fault didn't move.
The wiring harness is good from the other side of the big round
connector to the injector.  This is particularly irksome given that we
Re: Electrical Probelms in 2001 Jetta05 Mar 2007 04:07 GMT1
I was sondering if anyone else has had this problem....
When I had the headlights on, if I rolled down the windows or turned

could actually stall the car by rolling down the windows. I had the
Help! Missing something simple?05 Mar 2007 02:13 GMT6
Car: 97 Jetta, 135,000 miles, F/R disk brakes, no ABS.
Time for a full brake job (pads and rotors all the way around), and
being a bit handy, thought I would do it myself.  Picked up a cheap
Chilton manual as I expected it to be fairly simple.....a friend had

My 96 VW Polo has started to overheat.   I've been told this can happe

Being somewhat new to car maintenance, i'm not sure where the drai
Radio doesn't look right in '85 Jetta04 Mar 2007 17:33 GMT7
A couple (well, three actually) questions regarding radio installation in
an '85 Jetta:
First, I currently have a VW "Premium Audio" from I think a '92 or so
installed. It works fine and fits, but just doesn't "look" right - I
Bentley manual "repair groups"04 Mar 2007 03:04 GMT2
Hey folks - in my Bentley Passat (B4) Manual, there are places where it
refers to "See repair group 50," or "See repair group 34." What is this
about? Is there somewhere in the manual that I can find these listed? It
is not referring to page numbers or section letters, as far as ...

98 passat won't start03 Mar 2007 20:06 GMT5
I'm a newby and this is probably a fairly straightforward problem
but, after reading the other articles, didn't see one that
specifically matched.
In a nutshell, my passat won't start anymore.
