| 2002 Passat Reliability | 29 Apr 2007 19:36 GMT | 5 |
I have a 2002 Passat 1.8 turbo, purchased new, with 50,000 miles. I read with alarm the April issue of Consumer Reports which indicates that VW is at the very bottom of the barrel when it comes to long-term reliability (Page 23). Also, the 2002 Passat is listed as a used car

I have an 86 Jetta that the rear passenger did not open when I got it last year. Yesterday, the other back door refused to open. I had replaced the outside handle on that door a few months ago, and it was the best working door on the car!

Okay so I found that supposively the "egr" wire has a screw shoved in it, and at the dist cap where theres usually a thing there (checked my freinds mk2 out) is missing, would this cause the engine to not run properly, also there is a small hole drilled in the air box near the

Was driving along today and looked at my rear-view mirror to be greeted by a massive bubble in the roof lining material. I thought at first that somehow a load of water had gotten behind it as it was so big! However on closer inspection it appears that it is just air

I purchased a 2002 VW Golf 2.0L engine. I am performing some DIY maintainance, and one of the things I wish to do is to change my ATF and the filter with the gasket since the car is over 60k. However, since it does not have a dipstick, after consulting some dealers, half

| Radweld - Good or bad? | 26 Apr 2007 19:56 GMT | 6 |
Have a slight leak in my radiator (mk2 golf GL) most likely due to a bit of corrosion. When the engine is hot and there is pressure in the coolant system, then it pisses out of the hole and after around 2 trips I'm left having to refill the coolant system.
