Charging problem15 May 2007 18:26 GMT12
I have a 1980 rabbit convertable. I just changed the alternator but is
still only charging at 12 volts. Does this car have a regulator? It
doesn't seem to have a ground wire either. Is that a problem.
2002 GTI 337 Overheat15 May 2007 17:57 GMT6
I've encountered my first 'major' problem with the 337. I was driving
down the road the other day and my temperature warning light came on
and my temperature gauge was almost pegged. I pulled over, shut the
car off and let it sit for a few. Once the temp came down below half,

Dislodged Skid Plates09 May 2007 23:43 GMT2
Hi all.  I had the car washed this morning, and the attendant pointed
out to me (before the car went   into the tunnel) that skid plates on
my 2002 2.0L Golf had become dislodged.  Rather than driving around
with the things dragging on the road, he yanked them out for me and
1984 Rabbit GTI Starts then dies09 May 2007 22:24 GMT3
I have a 1984 GTI Rabbit.  This morning the car started fine then died after

84 Vanagon, 2 L?09 May 2007 20:15 GMT1
Just bought and drove 600 miles.  Need to tune up with ignition wires,
cap etc.  When going to web the parts stores list only the 1.6 and 1.9
liter engines. Apparently mine is a 2 liter made in Germany.  What
gives? Will the 1.9 L parts fit the 2L?  Where can parts be ordered?

The rotor finally came off my 90 Golf 8v but in the process I busted

What's the other?  What are the two sensors in order?
