I'm in the middle of a 16v swap and Im going from 8v digifant to a 16v
motronic, Since the digifant lines are nothing but hose clamps I need
the barbed fitting for the return line and supply line so it can adapt
to the bolt on the cis style dist. Does anyone know what I should ask

Its come time to replace my wipers and am trying to figure out my siez. The
little book that tells you in halfords was stolen aparantly.
I think the back is 13" not sure what the fronts are ?

I just got a cd changer for my Golf, which I know is compatible with
my head unit. When I bought the car, the previous owner said the wires
were already fitted for a changer, but without ripping out all the
interior trim in the boot I'm not sure where to look. I know what I'm

Hi all - just picked up a 1998 Jetta K2. In getting it ready for an
Ontario "safety inspection", I was working on the drivers side power
window (unsuccessfully). The Haynes manual listed a fuse 6 as 'fuse
for electric windows'. I pulled the fuse; it was OK. Right after that,

it was new.  It served me well, but is being replaced by a '62 Corvair van
I've just restored.  The group had been most helpful over the years.

Anyone else had this? Passat 2003 model.
The first stage went OK, the bonnet popped up and the plastic T bar came
out from under the bonnet, but then... nothing.
I can't close it fully nor release it.

My fuel release button is broke on the driver side door, How do I
remove it from the assembly on driver side door so I can replace it
with a new one. I hope I am explaining it correctly.

My daughters car started overheating so I took it to a garage.  They first
replaced the thermostat, then the water pump.  Now it seems that the car will
no go out of 2nd gear.  Its an automatic so now I will have to take it to a
VW dealer as they cant even check the fluid levels ...

Just taking some notes here, but I've had a consistent oil leak on my
88 16v Scirocco since purchase over a year ago.  It always seems to
drip down from the oil pan sealing area, but I've already replaced the
gasket w/ new oil pan a 3 months ago w/permatex.  Found oil was still

Has anyone here had to change the differential drive shaft bearings on a 95
jetta? I don't have a parts explosion so I don't know what I'm getting into.
Any help is appreciated.

Ok so i bought the 81 vw cabriolet that i thought had a blown motor
well did i get lucky.I put a battery in cause other was dead and car
would turn over but wouldt start i noticed that none of the gages were

Can anyone here tell me how and where to recharge the AC on an 85
Vanagon. The AC unit is in the cabinet above the bed. I've looked in the
Bentley manual and it seems to assume 85's did not have AC.

I have a 02 VW GTI with 80,000 miles and there is quite a lot of noise while
driving.  I replaced the tires and unfortunately, the noise has slowly gotten
worse.  I was told by the dealer the the wheel bearings and struts need to be
replaced.  Is there a test that I can do to ...
