2000 Passat TDi turbo failing.16 Aug 2007 21:44 GMT3
When I accelerate the turbo seems to cut out at about 3000rpm and there is a
huge loss of power from then on. The fault seems to correct itself when I
switch off and leave it for a time. Real pain this loss of power as it comes
in handy when having to overtake.

certificate somewhere safe.  So safe infact nobody can now find it!  :-)  It
was done before I got the car, and I don`t know what garage it was done at.

After all the replacement of master, hoses, calipers, pads, vac lines
I' ve solved my problem finally. As you all remember me frmm the front
brakes locking up and not releasing until I released the pressure from

I have a friend with a 53 reg 130BHP TDI Passat that has suddenly developed
a fault with the Temp Gauge that now seems to drop down to 1/4 for no reason
were normally it would sit rock solid @ 1/2 and never move !
I realise this could be a Sender or a Gauge (or something much ...

Anyone have any tips for me being a new Jetta TDI owner?  I am at
23,000 miles right now.  I thought I read somewhere that the timing
belt can be a big issue...do I just have it changed when maintenance
schedule says, or should I do it before?  Any advice is appreciated

After rear ending someone who's trailer ball punched through my radiatior, I
have taken advice from everyone (much appreciated) and my car is now
running.  There was some confusion as to how to add the coolant on my part,

My Jetta brake lines have rotted through and leak brake fluid.  It is
parked until I can replace them all.  I found a nice set of rear lines
and a new brake proportioning valve (mine was a ball of rust!) but I
am having problems locating the lines from the master brake cylinder

I have a 1994 vw jetta need help with distributor install where should the
rotor be pointing? Building up fuel in the cylinders and blowing out
exhaust. All timing marks are where they're supposed 2 be according to the
telltale manual. 2.0 8 valve eng. please help!@!!!!!!
