My GF has an '01 Passat wagon.  On the driver's side rear door, what the service
manual calls the "lock cylinder housing" wants to fall out.  Except that she has keyless
entry, so there's no lock cylinder in the rear doors, and so it's a dummy plug and there's
no screw in the door ...

Phaeton23 Sep 2007 01:58 GMT2
Any reason why the Phaeton never caught on?  Is it that people can't
connotate the term "Volkswagen" with luxury vehicles?
