| 95 golf - oil light blinks at idle | 28 Jun 2008 22:10 GMT | 4 |
I have a '95 golf (2.0L, 5-speed). The red oil light on the console recently started blinking sometimes at idle (while waiting at a stoplight, etc). It goes out immediately when the engine speed increases. Ideas? I suppose I should measure the oil pressure. Where can I get a ...

| How do I replace the brake light on a Caddy Van | 27 Jun 2008 23:52 GMT | 11 |
One of the brake lights has gone on my 2005 Caddy Van (the current model). There's nothing in the manual about replacing rear bulbs, and I can't see any way of getting to them. Does that mean it's a trip to the dealers and a hefty bill for a very minor repair?

He guys, got an issue I can't fix on my 99 Jetta. The car spits, sputters, and hesitates when the gas pedal is pushed. However, 95% of the problem goes away once the car is warmed up. I've replaced the plugs and wires, cleaned the K&N air fliter, no dice. Any ideas

| 2008 Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDI Review | 24 Jun 2008 12:42 GMT | 1 |
The VW Phaeton was the answer to a question no one asked: who wants to buy a $70k Volkswagen? Marketing mishegos aside, "Piech's folly" is a superb car: relatively quick, preposterously quiet and completely comfortable. Lest we forget, VW Chairman Ferdinand Piech is something of ...

I got my old rack out and the new rack is in, but I can not for the life of me get the steering column to slide down on to the steering rack. The splines seem to be lined up correctly, but the darned thing just sets on top of the rack without popping down. Is there some trick to ...

Hi Folks - the water pump on my Jetta has bitten the dust, and I'm trying to replace it. I did this about 6 years ago when I last did the timing belt, but have forgotten a few things. The engine is an 8v 1.8 (PF). What do I need to remove to get at this thing? I've got out the air ...

<http://www.host-images.com/u/viewer.php?file=cgiltxg35n13mwfd9x3r.jpg> I think I pulled it off of a late 80's GTi. Throttle switch assembly is new, still in the bag. Want to sell it. What's it worth?

| 2006 Jetta TDI M5 | 19 Jun 2008 13:41 GMT | 9 |
Car has low kms (21000) and still gets good fuel economy BUT the snap is gone - I thought it might be bad fuel so I tried different brands but it still runs the same. I've also tried a couple of different diesel additives but no help there.

| 2003 Jetta 1.8T misfires, dead oxygen sensor | 17 Jun 2008 23:13 GMT | 15 |
My daughter just had her 53,000 mile 2003 1.8T Jetta repaired (for a number of issues). They said there were codes for misfires in all four cylinders and that the oxygen sensor needed to be replaced (I assume it was the front one). The car has had an issue with trying to stall ...

| 2000 Passat turn signal frozen | 17 Jun 2008 13:10 GMT | 3 |
Sometimes the turn signal stays on (rather than blink on/off). Same problem left or right. It's intermittent. Most of the time the blinkers work normally. Should I replace the blinker? If so, where is it?
