Source for info on "Rabbit" engines??12 Aug 2008 14:40 GMT7

of my VW Rabbit type engine?

2000 Jetta11 Aug 2008 20:47 GMT18

Any ideas why this would just start and were to look?

3 odd bolts on '81 AC compressor11 Aug 2008 17:11 GMT5
This is an '81 Scirocco. There are 3 bolts that attach the pulley

under the hood or elsewhere.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

How to set it back to Fahrenheit?  I believe it must be easy but have

VW bug05 Aug 2008 22:07 GMT2
Read in a recent issue of a automotive magazine that VW intends to build a
beetle based on the current Golf platform.  That is, small and economical.
Are they going back to the beetle's original intent?
HC a little high - why?05 Aug 2008 17:29 GMT9
81 Scirocco has 255K+ miles on original motor. Wife drove it less than 3400
miles during the last 2 years. It seemed to be running good, so I just drove
