Startde my mk4 golf 1.6 16v 01 up this morning and got about 10 seconds of pure white smoke out of the exhaust which disaapeared quickly. Very alarmed by it as it never ever does anything like this. Any idea what could cause this ?

I'm changing my wishbones on my mk4 golf and te bolt torque settings are between 30/70 nm and have mis placed the sodding torque wrench, do you reckon if I do them up really tight on the socket it should be fine ? Also do you need to get the tracking done after changing wishbones ...

If anyone by any chance has etka could you double check what the size of the ARB bush is for a mk4 golf 1.6 16v 2001 engine azd. I'm getting conflicting advce on this one so would appreciate if someone could check it out for me please. *THUMBS UP*

Going to need new tyres all round soon and my mk2 Golf steel wheels are looking a bit manky, with small bits of corrision. Is it possible to refurbish them myself? It doesnt need to be 100% perfect as the car is old now and worth very little.
