Vehicle Title LLC and Experian Automotive today announced that their products, TitleGuard Vehicle Title Insurance and the AutoCheck vehicle title history service respectively, have been selected by Nissan to provide insured vehicle title histories for all certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicles sold in the United States -- more than 42,000 vehicles in 2004. Nissan's new Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program includes a $50,000 title insurance policy that insures the accuracy of a vehicle's title history for as long as CPO buyers own the automobile.

AutoCheck first scans Experian's National Vehicle Database, the largest automotive vehicle database available, to document and confirm that each CPO vehicle has a clean title history. Once confirmed, TitleGuard insures the accuracy of the vehicle's title history report against hidden DMV brands, title defects, and evidence of odometer rollback for up to $50,000.
