Volkswagen to cut 20,000 jobs in Germany

Volkswagen AG must make further cuts in its German operations to achieve its short-term goals, Chairman Bernd Pischetsrieder said. Pischetsrieder told VW shareholders last week that the company needs a "far-reaching" reorganization. He wants VW to cut as many as 20,000 jobs in Germany.
